Owner of Everydog, LLC. Diane became interested in dog training after adopting her wonderful Chow mix, Ebony, in 1996. Ebony had several behavior issues that required Diane to put careful thought into how to teach her to be both comfortable and safe in her household. Ebony went on to earn her AKC Canine Good Citizen title, as well as a rally obedience competition title. By then, Diane was hooked on the subject of dog training and behavior.
Since then, Diane has delved deeper into the world of animals, and particularly dogs, becoming a veterinary technician in 2002 and an animal control officer in 2007. She is an instructor and the former training director at New England Dog Training Club in Cambridge, MA. These experiences have given Diane a unique perspective on the role that animals play in our lives.
She has attended numerous seminars and courses on dog training and behavior, including the Dogs of Course Instructor Training Course. In 2014, she became a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA). She also continues to further her knowledge of dog sports (and having fun!) by taking her dogs, Ollie, CGC, RL1, RA, SDA, NW2 and Bonita, RN, NW3 to obedience, rally and scentwork classes.

Nikki began her professional career working with non-domesticated animals at institutions such as the Stone Zoo and the Nashville Zoo. She especially enjoyed participating in the target training of various species, from skunks to black bears. While living in Tennessee, Nikki accepted a position as an Animal Officer, where she investigated animal cruelty cases, dog fighting rings, and cases of animal hoarding. Working with frightened and aggressive dogs inspired her to pursue additional education in behavior modification. As she currently pursues her CDBC, Nikki works with the Cape Ann Animal Aid staff conducting behavior modification SOPs for shelter dogs. In a field where research on evidenced based training methods are always evolving, Nikki continues her education through specialized courses and mentorships hosted by professional organizations such as the IAABC, FDSA, and Shelter Behavior Hub.

Amy's interest in dog training began in high school when she took her elderly family dog back to training classes and joined a dog 4H club. After college she worked at many doggie daycares where she credits gaining her knowledge of dog body language. She then mentored under the late Anne Springer, a pioneer of the force free science based training field. Amy enjoys dog sports (currently flyball and scentwork) with her Shetland Sheepdogs in her spare time, when she isn't chasing around her two human toddlers.
